How to Spa

We are proud to be a Salt Lake City spa and salon that provides excellent services. We also value our reputation as a spa and salon that creates a welcoming atmosphere of genuine caring and concern for your well-being. So please don't hesitate to advise a spa staff member if you need any assistance or have any questions.

Reservations

For your convenience, and to ensure availability of your requested service at your preferred time, we recommend that you call ahead to schedule your appointment. Call 800-304-7834 to make reservations. Note: A credit card will be required to reserve your appointment. At the time of your service you may pay with any major credit card, debit card, business and personal checks, or cash. 

Appointments

We recommend that guests try to arrive at least 15 to 30 minutes in advance of their scheduled appointment. This allows you a relaxing interval to change into your robe, enjoy a complimentary beverage, and get the answers to any questions you may have before your treatment.

Please note: Your treatment ends based on your original scheduled time so as not to delay the next guest’s service. Arriving on time for your appointment will ensure that you receive your full service and our other guests are not inconvenienced.

Cancellations

Should your plans change, we request the courtesy of a cancellation notice at least four hours in advance of your scheduled time for any single service. A 24-hour notice is required for any multiple service or spa package cancellation. Late cancellations will be charged 50% of the fee. The full service will be charged for any late cancellations or no-show appointments.

Safety and Well-Being

To ensure your well-being and comfort, and to allow us to safely deliver our services by minimizing any risk of injury, please notify the Spa Concierge of any medical condition that may be contraindicated during your service. For your safety, we highly discourage alcohol consumption prior to a spa treatment, immediate sun exposure after skin care therapy, and shaving following any exfoliation treatment.

Spa Policies

So you may fully enjoy your spa experience, and as a courtesy to other guests, we request that you turn your cell phone off during your visit.

For the comfort of all of our clients, the Grand America Spa and Salon is a smoke-free environment.

Pricing

A daily spa facility access fee is charged. For Grand America Hotel guests the fee is $10.00 per room, per day; Little America Hotel guests, $15.00 per room, per day; and Grand America Spa and Salon guests not staying in the hotel, $25.00 per person, per day.

The facility fee includes unlimited day access to all spa facilities. Our access fee will be waived upon the administration of any spa treatments. The spa facilities and services are open to adults 16 years of age and older. An adult must accompany patrons under the age of 16 in the spa and indoor pool area.

The Grand America Hotel Spa and Salon reserves the right to modify, discontinue, or raise prices on certain treatments without prior notification to ensure that maximum standards of service and quality are met.  If you have any questions, please ask your Spa Concierge when you book your appointment.

Gratuities

Gratuities are not covered by your service charge. Tipping is left to the discretion of our clients and is greatly appreciated. Gift certificates do not include gratuity unless noted otherwise.

Age Requirement

The Grand America Spa and Salon is an adult oriented atmosphere; therefore we are not able to accept appointments for children under the age of 16 years, unless accompanied by a parent. Children under the age of 18 are not allowed in the spa unless they are receiving services. Children under the age of 18 may need a signed waiver and/or accompaniment by a parent or adult guardian for services. Online bookings cannot be made by or for persons under 18 years of age. Please contact the spa for further information.

For Your Comfort

We request that you disclose any medical conditions and/or prescription medications as some services may be contraindicated. Please advise our professional staff of any allergies or sensitivities or if you are pregnant.

Please feel free to request a male or female therapist. Our therapists are highly trained to be sensitive to your comfort and modesty at all times.

Robes and slippers are provided for your comfort. For the protection of your clothing, we ask that you wear the robe that is provided. Please deposit them in the hamper at the conclusion of your service.

Lockers are provided for your convenience. However, we regret that we cannot be responsible for the loss or damage of personal articles. We recommend that you leave your valuables in your hotel room. Please keep all valuables with you during your appointments.

Gift Certificates

There is no better way of letting someone know how much you care than by giving the gift of relaxation. Our gift certificates are the perfect way to pamper family, friends, or colleagues and are available to cover any spa service or for a fixed dollar amount.
